Friday night plans

Right now I’m a little angry became I tried to fallow a tutorial on Rreliant for adding custom fonts to your layout and I can’t seem to get it to work. Anyways, I installed a great number of plug ins on my Wordpress. I also got a new computer, its an Acer. I haven’t installed Photoshop yet, because I’m having some problems figuring it out, but once I do I will be so happy with my computer. I customized with great themes and system icons from Rain Drop Memory. I’m also working on my portfolio, I can’t add anything to it until I get Illustrator so that I can convert the files into JPEGs. In other news, tonight I’m going to go to the mall to see the movie Letters to Juliet. I’ve been to the mall many many times by myself and with friends, this time my Best Friend Elena will be joining me. She is a couple years younger then me but she is the closest friend I have, we share everything. I’m ticked off that the aunt we share is not allowing us to go to the mall by our selves to watch this movie. I’ll be turning 17 in one month, however she feels that we need supervision so she is sending our much older family friend to accompany us. I don’t understand why I’m not trussed. I love my aunt, but she needs to realize this is not the first time I’m going somewhere alone and that she needs to trust us.
I’m also making plans for this summer. In the first week of July my family and me and my family are going on vacation to an island. I’ve been there before, it’s a nice place and were staying there the whole week, including the 4th of July. The only bad part about this vacation is that were coming home on my birthday, I have to spend about 4 hours in the car on my 17th birthday =(

And yes, I understand what you’re saying here, but I think the reason why she wanted us to be supervised is because I was coming along. You usually go with your friends around your age, but this time it was with me.
I suppose, our aunt feels I’m not mature enough either to go to the mall “alone,” though, if I do say so myself, my mind is more developed than others
Also, it’s not completely her fault. She might have let us gone alone if it weren’t for my over-protective parents. I think my father plays an important part.
For the summer trip…
Yes, we’ll be in a car for four (4) hours! See, I love car rides, so I will enjoy it and I’ll try to make the car ride exciting for you so you are not a bored seventeen (17) year-old. :/
We’ll have a peaceful time, hopefully. So don’t be pessimistic and think about the negative things about the trip. Be excited!
If you want things to go well, one must be calm and understanding. Don’t keep problems going on and on. Just leave it.
Don’t forget to smile either!

I think the project we were thinking of doing was current trends on fashion, etc.

It sucks that your aunt doesn’t trust you…I hate having trust issues with family…but I suppose she is only looking out for you

I hate not being able to follow a tutorial. I sometimes blame the owner of the tutorial due to my own stupidity lol.

Wow, what amazing website
I especially love the layout.
I want to watch that movie! It sounds great – and anyway, one of the reasons I wanted to watch it at first was because Taylor Swift’s Love Story was there xD.
I hate when my parents want to come with me to the mall too. I think I’m old enough to be by myself for once, especially since others already go to the mall with their friends by themselves.

My mom’s just like that sometimes, and rarely lets me watch movies with my friends unless it involves my brother >< It's just annoying, but she's been more lax these days. Maybe you could talk to your aunt about being 1 7 and a year away from being legally responsible *wink wink*

Ahh sorry to hear that your aunt won’t trust you to take Elena to the mall. I think it’s a bit normal for parents to worry though (even if they’re not yours). You hear about kids missing all the time so it might not even be about “trust” but about safety. She probably just wants the both of you to return home safely.

I got a new computer myself last month. It’s the bestestestestestest computer I’ve ever had. 
How was the movie, btw? I’m not really into those types of movies but it’s nice to get a second opinion.

I can’t get that font-face tutorial to work either D: It’s so frustrating! I tried once to do it for two hours and it failed, another time I tried, thought it work, then went on my website while at my cousins house and found that the text was in Times New Roman D: Aoegtaj
Sorry that your aunt won’t let you go a lone :/ Adults can sometimes be super over protective :/ My parents used to be the same way with me, and they still pretty much are but they give me much more freedom than before xP
