Help Wanted and Summer Plans

Announcement: I’m looking for anyone with website experience who might want to aid me in running my hosting site, Worth the Risk. If you have never had a reseller account I can teach you how to use it. I prefer if it was someone I knew and trusted to help me in running the site. If you are interested in merging your hosting site with mine to create one bigger and better website, I’m open to that as well. Please consider this amazing opportunity, I’m sure that if I had a helping hand Worth the Risk could become an amazing hosting provider, I’m also willing to change the name of the website if someone wants to merge sites with me.
Anyways, my summer has officially begun. Today I started off my summer by going to work. I actually enjoy working, it’s a place filled with sweet and funny people, most around my age, I don’t mind spending time around them. The job I do is a bit boring, but what job isn’t? My job consists of answering phones and generating letters at a university. I plan on working three days out of the week for the remainder of the summer, the other 3 days I will relax and the remanding day, a Saturday, I work for about two hours at my church.
I am waiting anxiously for my teachers to email me with grades from the finals I took the past week. Here in New York we have to take state mandated exams, the whole state takes this exam on the same day, at the same time. Most take about 1-2 of these exams in each subject. The Regents counts for our final, and our scores will show on our transcripts. I emailed both my history teacher and English teacher for my grades, my English teacher said that our school was chosen to get audited for the Englsih regents so the exams had to be sent to the education department of New York to be regraded and when they got sent back we could know our grades, which means I need to wait for Friday. My history teacher told me three days ago that he would let me know the next day, and still nothing. The wait is killing me. I find myself checking my email every 2 minuets, it’s absolutely insane!
When I find time at home I plan to make a new layout for this site, something different which does not contain flowers.
Your hosting site sounds like it is going to be great. I would volunteer but this is the first time I’ve visited your site and I have no hosting experience whatsoever. I wish you the best of luck in finding someone to work with!
I wish I had a job. It would make me feel useful. It sounds like you have a good summer. Your job doesn’t sound bad at all. It’s obviously a good thing that you don’t mind working. Plus, working only 3 days a week sounds good as well. What kind of work do you do in your church?
Waiting for grades is frustrating. I had a teacher that wouldn’t grade the tests he gave out until months later. It was the most irritating thing ever. If, for some reason, we bombed a test we wouldn’t be able to find out until much later. Therefore, pulling our grades up was really hard when it came time for report cards. At least you know that it’s not your teachers causing the wait xD

ooh glad you enjoy your job!! i need to find one so desperately but i live in the middle of nowhere (almost) and i’ve applied to lots of places but nowhere has vacancies ):

Oo I would help you out with the hosting thing but I am not capable of running a hosting site & I don’t think I’d be able to sift through emails about people having problems. You’d have to hire someone to do that. haha. But I do have a reseller account that is draining my money from me so I’ll end up selling space one day. Good luck on finding someone though! I’m sure you could team up with a few people who run some hosting sites by themselves. They could use the hand. 2 people are a lot better than 1 person running a hosting site.
I hope you did well on your finals. That’s some crazy system you guys have there. haha my professors aren’t allowed to e-mail us our grades so they’re all posted online.

Thanks for the advice. I will start to add more scans since I now have a good scanner. And for the tutorial part, what sort do you think? Like photoshop, etc. ?
Wow, 1 year online already? Seems so fast. It’s time to celebrate! Oh, and very pretty layout. I love the clouds and the rainbow colours on the text and the balloons.

OH! I love the new layout, it’s stunning! It is quite different to your other layouts because I’ve never seen you use blue before. It still has the gorgeous vintage style but is brighter and I love the rainbow colours!
I have a lot of domains, as you know, so I don’t think I’m too keen on helping you out. Sorry about that.
I hope you do find someone though.
Your job sounds really good, not one that is too strenuous, and it’s always nice when you’re surrounded by lovely people.

In response to your comment: Yeah, James and I are going well. I just never really mention him much because I haven’t seen him in a while, but we talk every day! If we have a fight or anything, it usually gets resolved quickly which is why I don’t mention those much in my blogs.

Meh, my summer have not begin yet. Still undergoing school, meanwhile looking for a job that I can work only during the season. No luck thus far. I live in a small city so there are not many opportunities. I never had a reseller account before; only dealt with cPanel and whatnot. Good luck with that hosting site!

I hate the wait to receive final grades, especially since a lot of the time it’s my final grades that make or break my over all grade.

I enjoyed reading your comment. I absolutely agree with you, although I am a huge fan of both, Lindsay & Natalie, you’re absolutely right. Their childhoods & upbringings contribute immensely to the people that they become today.
Perhaps Lindsay’s contribution to the world IS indeed setting an example of celebrities going down the wrong path…or perhaps one day, she will give back more than Mother Theresa. Who knows, right? But whatever it is, she is her own person & we don’t know what’s really going on behind the scenes. All we can do is sit back, make our observations, & just move on with our lives.
I quite think that her best contribution is Mean Girls.
