layout contest
Here is the first contest for Ponterosso, and I thought I would make it extra special.
Prize
- One free .info domain (free for one year)
- A hosting plan that includes Unmetered space and bandwidth as well as unlimited add on domains, parked domains, sub-domains, email accounts, msql databases and FTP accounts. One Cpanel account is also included. ($20.00 value)
The mission
You will create one full page layout using only resources made by your self or me. You may not use any other type of resources unless you your self have made them.
Rules
- If for any reason you wish not have the domain, you may still submit a layout and win advertising at Worththerisk.net in which case the runner up will win the domain and hosting.
- Your layout may be in any style you wish (vintage, modern, simple ect.)
- You must create a style sheet as well as a HTML or PHP index. The style sheet must include the fallowing effects: bold, italics, active link, a:link, visited link, hover link, blockquote, body and any other effects you wish. You layout must show examples of all text effects. Your index page must include a main text area as well as a sidebar. The addition of a footer is optional. You may include a navigation in either the form of an image map or links in the sidebar.the format should look much like this.
- The coding of the layout must be 100% valid (both HTML/XHTML and CSS).
- You many not include a watermark (adding the name of your website or your name anywhere in the design.) If you would like to secure the layout from being stolen you may add the line “Submission for a contest at Ponterosso”.
- You must create a name for the layout which will be featured as the site name. The site name must be clearly visible in layout
- You may not tell people on you site to vote for your submission, this is a anonymous contest, every entry will be listed according to site name and the name of the designer will not be featured. You may tell people to visit the contest and vote for the best however do not indicate which layout it yours. If you do, you will be disqualified.
Submit
Please only submit one entry per person.
Please attache your submission in a folder labeled “layoutcontest-YOURNAME”
In the folder you should include the fallowing:
- 1 php or html index page which includes all the basic codding
- 1 style sheet
- Any images which are included in the layout
